RaiseKit-managed infrastructure
Your website runs on hosting we set up, operate and pay for, so your school doesn’t need its own server.
Managed hosting · optional
Managed Hosting is an optional service for schools that don’t want to deal with servers. We host and maintain your RaiseKit-built website. If you prefer, your school can host it independently instead.
What’s included
Your website runs on hosting we set up, operate and pay for, so your school doesn’t need its own server.
We deploy fixes and updates to your installation and make sure each release is working.
Your fundraising address is served securely over HTTPS, with certificates renewed automatically.
Regular backups of your website’s database, so campaigns and donor records can be restored if something goes wrong.
Uptime checks alert us if your site becomes unavailable, so we can respond quickly.
Security patches, dependency updates and routine upkeep handled for you.
Support boundaries
The exact terms are set out in your hosting agreement. In general:
Cancellation & migration
Your school owns its installation and its data. If you cancel managed hosting, we help you move.
FAQ
No. Hosting is optional. Your school can choose to host its website independently, for example with its district IT team or its own hosting provider.
Support covers technical problems with your installation: the site being unavailable, errors, broken features and help with the dashboard. New features, design changes and content work are not included and can be quoted separately.
Give notice according to your hosting agreement. Before the service ends we provide an export of your database and the files needed to run your installation elsewhere.
Yes. We help you migrate: we provide your data and deployment files, and can assist your new host or IT team with setup as a separately quoted task if needed.
Mention managed hosting in your quote request and we’ll include it as an optional line in your proposal.
